Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en Wheels Up

      Entrevista

I was reached out via email by the recruiter. They seem to do it via a 3rd party recruiting company. This was a good experience. I scheduled the phone screening which went well. She explained the job duties, training scenarios (At the time she said it may be local at PDK or out in Denver for 2 weeks). This matched the job posting. Everything she gave matched the job posting, she was friendly, said she liked my background, and scheduled me for the next interview with the Ops Department. I did research on Linked In and Glassdoor, and on the company, and was prepared to answer a multitude of questions. The interview was one of the top 2 worst interview experiences of my life. The interview was on Zoom, I entered all the password and info needed to enter the meeting. Both myself and the interviewer were on time, 1058 for an 11am interview we are both online. Zoom only allows you to blur the background once it has started. I politely apologized to the interviewer that I was used to Teams, and needed to quickly just edit one setting that could only be edited once the call has began. I would expect him to know and understand this as this is the platform they use. The interviewer rolled his eyes, shrugged, and sat back in his chair. After 2 minutes I gave up, and hes like "DID YOU FIGURE IT OUT?" in an annoyed tone. He then asked me two questions. The 2nd was how did I feel about overnights. The key-is there are TWO distinct job postings for this position. One is overnight only, one is regular. I applied to the regular. I politely replied that there were two seperate job postings, and I applied to the regular one, not he overnight. I was professional and straightforward and said that while my previous experience is often overnights, I'm not looking to do overnight shifts at this time. A couple other people introduced themselves, and then they said they had no further questions. The interview was done in 6 minutes. He also said that the PDK training facility fell through, and instead of Denver per the job posting, he was looking at sending us to Shelton, CT to train with a random guy I never heard of at any point in this process. He also said he is looking to rotate anyone as a flight coordinator into overnights. He also did not know the exact shifts, just "estimated" start and end times. 4 on/3 off. Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat. Good days, but roatating hours. None of that reflected the job posting or what the recruiter went over, and I would not have applied if I knew this info, it seems theres a disconnect between recruiting and the Ops department. I expressed interest in another department I applied for, and the interviewer claimed he would pass my resume along, but as expected I have heard nothing since the interview and its been over 3 weeks.
