      Entrevista

      I interviewed with Wayfair from June mid to July end and went through 5 thorough rounds of interviews. 1. Phone screen with recruiter : 30 mins asking about the background, why are you interested etc. 2. Phone screen with Hiring manager: 30 mins understanding background, interests, projects. 3. Skype with another Hiring manager: 30-45 mins case assessment involving a situation and few mathematical questions - found it interesting, relatable to the job and fairly easy if you are well prepared about the e-retail industry and their challenges. 4. Onsite round: Back to back 5 interviews: 30-45 min each, with 2 managers, 3 senior managers and 2 directors (one of the director was a surprise entry). Exhausting day overall, recommend to travel a night before to get a good night's sleep for the power packed day!! 5. Phone screen with a director: 30 min call -Situational questions to understand the leadership style and dealing with conflict/ambiguity. All the interviews were spaced out by 1 week each and the recruiting team was very accommodating and flexible with my schedule and travel/hotel arrangements. The process was exhausting but fairly easy if you have prior experience in the industry or have done your homework about wayfair and the drop-ship model / e-retail business. Research on their top competitors like Amazon/ Overstock etc. will be helpful. Everything was perfectly organized and the recruiter kept me up-to-date with the decisions within 2-3 days of each interview, except for the onsite round. I had to wait for 2 weeks only to hear that the director wanted to speak to me again (!!) with the same set of cliché HR questions that I believed I had already answered a hundred times in the last 7-8 round of interviews with them. I was a little disappointed because I didn't see the point of a call again for this after you and your team have thoroughly met and scrutinized the candidate onsite and they cleared all your technical rounds. The recruiter called me 10 days later from the day of my interview with the director (after 2-3 follow up mails from me) to tell me that they were not moving forward with me! SIGH, I think they did not see me as a "leader" yet, though I truly did not see WHY.

      The process included Calls with HR for behavioral screen. Hr was super nice. They put me up in hotel for the interview. The interview included In person case interviews, with data and graphs in addition to behavioral
