I was called by a consultant for an updated resume to forward it to company.I send them my resume.10 days later i got a call again from the same consultant saying ''My resume got shortlisted by the Volvo eicher commercial vehicles management and should attend face2 face interview going to be held at chennai on monday.'' i receive call on saturday evening also i receive an email from the hiring consultant,the venue of interview and regarding ticket reimbursment for the travel expences. I booked the tickets from my current place to chennai immediatly and travelled for the interview. Interview process: There was a interview pannel of 2 guys piled up with resumes.(Its like a walk in interview.) one personel from Technical background another from HR. The technical person asked me about my back ground and Technical experience. The process took 10 minuts. They asked me to leave and sed that they will call me when ever required. Issue: Before calling for interview i doubted whether they did verify my resume. They did not pay my expences for travel till today even after vigourus follow up with hiring consultant. I have answered all the questions that are asked in my interview. Request to Volvo management: Plz conduct interviews ,but please read the resumes of the candidates before shortlisting. Comming to interview will take pain,Money and also valuable time.If you have respect all these things Plz check every thing before you call canidates. It may be fun for you sitting on the other side of table. Dont spoil Volvo's name in india.
