Was told by an acquaintance that the Company culture was toxic, and the place was a "dumpster fire". I was skeptical, and honestly, I wanted to find out for myself. As it turns out - they were right. When the third question asked of you by the hiring manager is: "How old are you?", and the second question from HR is "What year did you complete your degree - it's not on your resume?", then you know, the stock and trade of the Company is age bias. When you walk in the door and only 30% of the desks are occupied (others clearly empty), and the Engineering lab is clean, but absolutely empty of projects - you know that the stock and trade of the Company is cuts, riffs, and position elimination. I'm surprised they were hiring at all - and they made it very clear that budgets were impossibly tight. Combine all that with a parade of prima donnas who walk in the Conference room and interview you - I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I would avoid this place at all costs.
