After applying online I was contacted by HR and had a 30 minute phone screening. HR was friendly and organized and communicated well through jobvite. After the phone screening I was given a 50+ question test that had excel questions and scenario questions. Once I completed the test I was invited and scheduled to have an in-person panel interview with 3 campaign managers and a math test.
It was easy to find the parking structure and building with the directions given by HR. After checking in with the receptionist I waited for 5 minutes and then was taken to a conference room to do the math test. It wasn't too hard and had equations that had to do with online advertising and marketing like CPM, revenue, and more.
After the test I had the interview with the three campaign managers. The position was throughly explained and they wanted to know about myself and my qualifications. They were nice and answered all my questions that I had about the company, and were honest when they said that work would have to be done sometimes on the weekends and holidays. I personally don't mind doing that because I have worked in an online ad and marketing agency before and it isn't so bad! The internet doesn't close on the weekends or holidays and working overtime comes with the perks of working at a technology company so don't apply here if you don't think working past contract hours is necessary.

Originally, I applied for a position directly through their website. Within two days, a recruiter reached out to me by email. She said that although the position was filled, she thought my resume was a great match for a campaign analyst position that they had open. She wanted to schedule a phone interview. I agreed to this time and date. I also made it clear in my cover letter that I was moving to SoCal within the upcoming weeks. She emails me back and goes “one last thing, are you currently located in Irvine?” I responded and told her I would be within the next few weeks, but could come in for an interview at any time, and would pay for my plane ticket out. She didn’t reply after this.
Two days later, I had a phone interview with her. Immediately when she called, you could tell from her tone she was not interested in speaking with me, and wanted the interview done as fast as possible. Mind you, she is the one that thought my resume was a good match for the position and suggested that I interview for it. The phone screen maybe lasted 12 minutes. She did not bother telling me anything about the benefits of working there, and was more fixated on the address that I was moving to in Irvine, and why I chose that area to live. It was a complete waste of time. I was discriminated against being an out of state candidate. I’m not sure why stating that you would pay the cost of a plane ticket to interview at a company is a bad thing, but it was to this recruiter.

After an initial phone interview, I was given the weekend to complete an Excel assessment, and after sending it over, scheduled for an in-person interview later that week. I interviewed with five managers - they were all very pleasant to chat with and focused either on resume/life experience questions or case study questions.

The interview process was quick and went very smoothly. It consisted of one phone screen with an internal recruiter, a take-home assessment, and an in-person interview with 3 people - one at a time.
