The interview process here was pretty rigorous once I got to the in-person phase. Phone interviews preceded it but in-person was a few hours with multiple folks. Questions on skills and management style, etc were pretty routine. Overall the company seems really stable and the environment seems positive. Within IT there seems to be some strain between the engineers and the security department though. I expect this is what the hope of the position I had interviewed for was going to maybe ease or solve. The strain isnt anything unusual, its the typical security versus usability disagreements. The company staffs its own recruitment folks so the process moves along quite smoothly and quickly. Sadly, I was not offered this position as the candidate selected had experience in the finance industry which I did not.
