I had a brief call with the recruiter to go over the team, company, and what my responsibilities were. The next step was to do a design challenge where I was reviewing someone's work and provide design recommendations. Like many of the other reviews here, this was a huge red flag because it seemed like they were just trying to get some free work and disguising it as part of the interview process. Ideally, the company would give a challenge unrelated to their industry or product. So, proceed with caution here.
