I was reached by Ultimate HR on the LinkedIn. The first thing that already bought me, they are open to the process, and everything is well documented in the Ultimate Open Culture - a publicly available wiki, that gives you an overview of the process. After an initial talk with the recruiter, things went slower, as the company has a week-off for their annual collective, but as soon as they went back, things speed up. The next step was a talk with CTO, that was supposed to understand my background and experiences. After that, you get a coding challenge and meet with Developer leads to discuss your solution. Out of there also general discussion about different aspects of software development begins. Lastly, you are invited for a final call with CEO and again CTO so both sides can get the feeling that you fit well with the company.

Standard issue call with screener then hiring manager. Then a take home test which was a nice challenge but nothing terrifying.
Sent it off and then got an email response the next day saying they wouldn't be proceeding with my application. No issue with not being selected but I do take issue with a copy and paste rejection email with no feedback at all. Waste of time.
