I initially applied for the Seasonal PSE Mail Clerk position, but didn't hear back. I took the 473 Exam. You get your results by the time you walk out. I went back to the USPS website and applied for the Casual CEP position. By the next week, I heard back for a background check and drug test. A month later, they called me in for an interview. It was about 40 of us. They gave us an overview of the job. Some declined because of what the job entails (not being able to get a permanent position afterwards, one or two days off, long hours). They interviewed us in the order we arrived. The interviewer just asked a couple of questions and said to wait for an email. I got a email the next day with a conditional job offer. Now I am just waiting to start.
