Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en US Postal Service (San Diego, CA) en sept 2018
Entrevista
It starts much like a group interview. As a group, you are presented with information regarding the job and what’s expected of you as an employee. Then you are handed a copy of application and a packet for your background. Included in the packet is a sheet of typical interview questions which the interview will use as a basis. Once finished filling out the packet, you are called in for the first part of the interview process. It’s just to confirm packet information, accuracy, and brief questions about your work history and availability. The second part is the traditional interview questions. Once finished with both, you can leave. Since the process is done with so many people, it can take several hours to complete

What would you do in the event you had problem with supervisor
Group interview then one on one. Group consisted of about 30 people, about 10 people out of that group were hired. I was offered job at the interview. Was informed Job would be limited to 6 weeks, starting shortly before thanksgiving and staying through the first week of January.
For me, the Interview was very simple. It basically felt like they just wanted to know if there was any reason you couldn't see yourself doing the job and to be sure you weren't some kind of crazy person. This was for a temporary seasonal position though. I do not know if it would be different for a long term job.
Applied online, received an email for pre-employment and fingerprint. Now I am waiting for their job offer email once fingerprint clears. Was told should take about 2 weeks and job offer is for 6 weeks only. Night side hustle for the holidays.
