I applied for Travelers and completed the assessment on 7/25/21. The assessment was actually quite tricky, especially because there wasn't a lot of time to complete each scenario.
On 8/30 I got an email to schedule a phone interview for 8/31. This interview was pretty much the company seeing if you would be a good fit by asking you simple questions about you and your background.
I then got contacted by someone else from Travelers via email on 9/3 for a second interview. This time with the claims manager whom I would be working with and their higher up. They asked me a lot of STAR based questions. So please make sure you put together real-life scenarios and put them in the STAR format. Be straight to the point but still give detail.
I took the second interview on 9/7. Literally the same day on 9/7 about 2 hours after my second interview, I got another email saying that they would like to move on with me for another 2 interviews. The peer & the final interview. I scheduled these interviews for 9/8 , 30 mins apart from each other . The peer interview wasn't even really an interview. I basically had a zoom call with someone who works at the same location as me and in the same position. It was a nice smooth conversation just me asking more in-depth questions about the position itself.
30 minutes later I had my last interview with someone from HR and somebody else who was in a high position. They asked me a lot of STAR-formated questions, but they were nice, outgoing, and very easy to talk to. They even asked me some questions that had nothing to do with the job which was nice lol.
On 9/14 I received a verbal contingent offer and completed my background check. On 9/23 my background check cleared and received a final offer welcoming me to Travelers!
**Overall it was a very lengthy interview process, but it moved very quickly, especially because I made sure I scheduled each interview pretty much back to back as soon as I could. Also, it helped that the interviewers were friendly. But out of all jobs I've applied and interviewed with, I would rate it as a difficult interview process because of the number of interviews and the amount of STAR-based questions you have to answer throughout the entire process.
And the interviews aren't short, they last for about 45 mins to an hour EACH. However , you can tell that they really care about who they hire, and want to make sure that your a good fit as well as them being a good fit for you. Good Luck !
