Phone screen, skills assessment, interview with manager, interview with multiple staff members, interview with the same manager as first video interview, and interview with two other staff members. The process lasted over a month and was very time consuming, with no compensation. I had two, one-to-one, hour-long interviews with the same staff member. In the second interview with the manager, it was questions about what kind of management style and onboarding support I would like were I to be chosen for the role. In the end, I was informed they offered the role to someone with more experience. It felt very unnecessary to have so many what felt like final-round interviews when there was another candidate leading with more experience. Everyone I talked to was pleasant and respectful, I've just never invested so much time in an interview process before. Especially considering the level of the position was not very advanced and had a lower salary range.
