Applied online. Had to send in photos of my passport on an online portal for right to work. Then had to do some online situational questions. Received a phone call inviting me to interview later that week. Interviewer wasn't particularly welcoming. Started by checking right to work documents, and then said 'tell me about yourself' so I said I was a student, experience in customer service and some of my hobbies. They asked about my experience and were happy to hear I'd done 2 years in retail, but then they came to the student section and asked if I was looking for just a summer job. When I said I was they said they couldn't continue with the interview as Tesco Express doesn't offer temporary contracts, and I should try and look for job in a bigger store.

Was pretty good, went inside the store and went to a worker and saidi was here for an interview. Afterwards i was guided into the back areas of the store and my interview began.

Group interview. Sat around a room and had to contribute where possible. I thought it was a great experience. Final round was one on one and it went smoothly. I really enjoyed this experience.

Great interview process, lots of great questions asked and was really insightful about what the job was. Interview was at tesco. First done by a recruitment agency then done by the employees.
