Had a phone interview then got called back for an in-person interview with HR person and the department manager. Department manager was experienced and knowledgeable and asked relevant questions, but was not ready to answer some questions about process and how decisions were made when it came to deciding on content options. Overall it felt like there might have been a system in place where they might be going through the motions. I was not asked to talk about anything in my portfolio although I provided work samples. HR person was aloof. Question about benefits was literally answered with "They're benefits" and I was told not to expect any work from home opportunities. When I asked about start and end times for work he said the company was old school. Lots of red flags from him.
