The interview process was a very rushed process and it seems as if they were hiding the true nature of the job during the interview. When I asked about the roles and responsibilities of my position, I was told one thing but it ended up being something completely different (and way less satisfying). I specifically asked "why is position position open at this time? Is this a new position or are you trying to fill in a vacancy from a previous employee". They responded that it was a new position they were creating and then when I started, I was told by my coworkers (who I was not allowed to talk to during the interview process) that I was the fifth person in about 7 years to have this position. Needless to say, the reasons why the previous people left became abundantly clear.
