I applied via a referral. About a week later, a recruiter reached out to me and we scheduled a screening call via Zoom a few days later. The recruiter I spoke with was very friendly and easy going. A few hours after the call, I was notified that I would be moving on to the next stage of the process, a task. The next day, I received the task. I turned in my task a few days later (after a holiday weekend). The recruiter let me know that she would get back to me as soon as she had an update. A week later, I had not heard anything, so I reached out to the recruiter to see if there was any news. I still did not hear anything back, so I reached out to my contact and then heard back from the recruiter very quickly. She let me know that she still did not have any updates, but I should hear more by the middle of the following week. The following Wednesday, I was notified that I would not be moving forward in the process. The initial email I received did not have much information, and appeared to be automated, so I reached out to the recruiter directly. She got back to me with some very informative feedback about how the process went on her side and was very forthcoming in her response. Most companies do not provide that kind of information, so I was very appreciative. Even though this did not work out, I do plan to keep an eye on their career page for further opportunities.
