Hiring process was pretty easy. I was referred by a contact with MLS to the General Manager of the Swope Park Rangers. I had quick conversation with the GM to confirm I would receive college credit and that I understood I would not be paid for this opportunity. Brief discussion over my academic qualifications and job history.
