I was very disappointed in the phone interview 4/1/25 with talent acquisition member C.C. Located in NYC/Westchester. I applied for the “Part time RN position in New Paltz NY” just 24hr after posting. A week after applying I receive a email from C.C. Stating she was “impressed with my resume and would like to schedule a phone interview” with a link for me to schedule our meeting. The interview meeting was scheduled online and she called me late - at 10:25am (scheduled 10:00) She was not prepared and didn’t read my resume. I’ve been a RN 35yrs and she’s asking if I’m working and what type of work I have done and what companies, etc. then after several minutes informed me that the position I applied for (part time RN for New Paltz location) is actually looking for a full time RN willing to float to various locations. The job description was exactly what I was looking for - part time and close to home. I applied just 24hr after posting and now told “it's changed” I responded that I was looking for part time close to home and interested in the position posted. it was deceiving and not at all what was posted on indeed. She then became very argumentative and unprofessional and wasted my time. If that is what they are looking for then I’m not interested. She took it personally but that is not the position I applied for and I’m not interested. She continued to argue and raised her voice repeating “it’s not deceiving” over and over. I wanted to end the call as it was a waste of both our time. I emailed her just two days prior to the scheduled interview confirming the position was still available as posted with no response. The job posted that I applied for would have been perfect for me as a career finale, my last 10 years to give back and support my community (I live 7 miles away) I'm so very disappointed in Sun River Health.
