Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Starbucks (Chicago, IL) en abr 2011
Entrevista
First the manager asked me to confirm that my availability to work (hours, days, etc.) was the same as what i initially stated in the online application. By the way, the online application takes a long time to fill out. It includes a personality test and you cannot go back a page to change an answer. In the actual 1:1 interview, I was asked to describe a difficult situation in the past and how I deal with it. After one store manager interviews you, if they like you, you have to interview with another nearby store manager to see if he/she also agrees you would be a good hire.

Pregunta 1
Describe a difficult situation in the past and how you handled it.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
