Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en SpotX (Broomfield, CO) en abr 2020
Entrevista
Somewhat long with multiple fits and starts. Initially I was told it could be remote, then told it couldn't be. Then I was told it could be remote after all. Then I had a phone screen, then I was told they weren't sure if they were hiring any more (Coronavirus). Then there was a technical interview. I was interviewing "down" in title from my current position and was mostly interested in the high volume aspect of their software and using more modern compiler features.

Describe how various aspects of the C++ standard library work: containers and algorithms. This is a paraphrase of the questions. They all center around mistakes the engineering team has made in the past and learned from. E.g. When erasing items in a vector, why do you suffer a performance hit when doing a simple ::remove?
Lengthy phone and on-site interviews. SpotX wants to make sure you are going to like them as much as they like you. Be prepared to code, both on a computer for the pre-interview test and on a whiteboard. Have fun with it! It is a very non-threatening environment, and the interviewers want you to do well.

Be prepared for anything, and don't be afraid to admit what your weaknesses are... like a good engineer.

Talked with the recruiter for about 45-50 minutes, enough to make me want the job and continue. Took a coding test online. 3 questions, 200 minutes, all about array and string manipulation, general algorithm questions, purely academic.
