My experience matched at least 80% of the job scope, as evidenced by more than 10 third-party headhunters approaching me for this position. I passed the first interview and technical test, proceeded to the second interview, and was rejected the next day. The position has been open for over two years, so I’m still wondering what went wrong.

Pressuring me about my job change history and claiming I referred to the wrong job scope. Worse, stating that engineers don’t need to learn automation but only need to memorize tasks. This is definitely not something a top-level professional should say.

For interview, it require us to test IQ test and knowledge test, overall ok experience. The interviewer ask for basic questions like background and why you want to join this company.

The difficulty of the interview is not the main issue, the real problem is that they ask for a payslip to determine the salary, and yes, they lowball me. As an EU company, Siltronic should comply with the EU Pay Transparency Directive which prohibits employers from asking about previous or current pay to address pay discrimination and ensure fair pay practices.
3 interviews, HR, manager of dept and hod.
1st HR interview by call, subsequent is face to face. Just be sure of what you are applying and know what you are talking about
