The process takes about 2 weeks and its over the phone. After the interview i didn't hear back from anyone for almost two weeks after i had sent a thank you note and followed up again after that. Recruiter asked me more about my lifestory what are some wins or challenges i had faced in my life or in my previous roles. Also wanted to know my goals and what I wanted to do next along with my growth at Shopify. Overall i thought the questions wee great because i thought it really definitely gets you thinking in a different way and lets them see you under a different light.

The first session for initial discussion was pretty good and after the second round suddenly a message pops up that currently, we will hire candidates from US Region only. The Shopify claims to be fully remote but after the interview process, it mentions that no its location-based. If this was the reason why did you go ahead with the resume and start.
