Long process but understandable due to safety critical nature of job and psychometric tests over a couple of days. Hard process and need effort and time to pass these. Found it was more difficult as the stages advanced to the next phase

I felt my interview was sabotaged from the first minute. It was an externally advertised job but the interviewing panel made it abundantly clear they didn’t like external people. I got absolutely nothing back from them apart from sarcastic remarks which makes me wonder if I’ve had a lucky escape. e.g. I explained how I had worked a variety of shifts for several years and the reply I got was “aye, but you haven’t worked railway shifts”.
