Interviewed for a senior level software engineering position. They required that I create and present a 30 minute presentation on the subject of my choice. The day before the presentation, the software team manager told me he didn't like my subject choice and that I needed to choose another. According to the instructions and the interview agenda, the 30 minute presentation was to be followed by 20-30 minutes of questions. Instead two members of the interview panel constantly interrupted to ask questions during the presentation, which caused the presentation to go overtime. During the technical questions portion of the interview, almost all of the questions were EE related questions even though the position I was applying for was purely software engineering. The same two that kept interrupting the presentation were the ones that were asking the EE questions. There was no programming skills test. The overall interview was very frustrating with the two panel members being both rude and condescending when I chose not to try to answer their EE questions and inquired whether they were going to ask any meaningful software related questions.
