Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Robovis (Berlín) en sept 2024

      Entrevista

Back in September, I had a 3-hour interview with the CEO of the company at their Berlin office. I say "interview," but for 2.5 hours, it was more like an interrogation where they asked me everything they wanted to learn — about my previous company, how it was managed, what they did, and what kind of insights I could share that might benefit them. After this 2.5-hour-long Q&A session, they didn’t even attempt to assess my technical skills. They simply said, “We’ll get back to you,” and later rejected me. The whole interview process was extremely unprofessional. I was asked inappropriate personal questions, like whether I was married, whether we were planning to have children, and if I’d be okay with working overtime. At one point, while speaking in English, I accidentally referred to my wife as “he” and immediately corrected it to “she.” The CEO laughed and said, “For a second, I got really scared,” which came across as blatantly homophobic and left me quite uncomfortable. In short, they brought me in under the pretense of an interview, used that time to extract information about my previous employer, and then dismissed me. It was not only unprofessional, but also gave me the strong impression that this is not a company I’d want to work for.
