I was brought in for an interview for an in-house administrative assistant, not a placement for another company. Half-way through the interview, when another person was asked to join. We repeated my background and experiences for her and then they brought me into their office to see the layout. At the end, I was offered a different role as a Staffing Manager, basically a business development role because I was told I would be a better fit for that position. It was a bit awkward, as I could see the lead administrator was a little put off. They gave me some more information and asked me to watch a few videos about the role before making a descision. Was told the salaries for both, staffing manager was larger. When the offer came through they had offered lower - almost the same as the administrative assitant.

It was alright but I would definitely advice you to be prepared with notes and ready to ask questions once the interview ends. Everyone was very kind and considerate during the interview and they gave me enough time to ask questions at the end
Standard STAR method questions like "Tell me about a time you faced conflict in the workplace" and "Tell me about a time you went above and beyond." The interviewer was nice and the interview lasted around thirty minutes.
