Did not hear back from the recruiter lead for multiple weeks only to be told the hiring company decided to hire someone outside of the agency and their words were “Well, that’s how things go”.

Interviewer was friendly and easy to talk to on the video interview. No follow up other than a canned email weeks later letting me know she "is there for me." I emailed later about a new post, but never received a response. If someone takes time to speak with you, it is proper to follow up.
