Initial phone interview within 3 days. Face to face interview within a week. Required a document from me on how I would approach the position. Manager told me that he had internal candidates. As a prior manager I would have interviewed and offered or ruled out internal candidates before I went to the street. Felt like they were fishing for an approach from someone who had been there and successfully done that.
