Overall, the interview process was very positive, personable and professional!
I was interviewing from out of state so the first three interviews were conducted via phone. The first interview was with the recruiter to gauge general fit (she asked for more detail on my background and my interest in the firm) and to answer any questions I had. The second interview was with a current consultant and focused on my knowledge, skills and abilities - e.g., business acumen, problem-solving approach, project management experience. I was also asked to respond to a few questions regarding a mini business case. For the third interview, I again spoke with a consultant and our conversation centered on communication and leadership skills as well as a deeper dive into problem-solving and project management. The fourth interview was an in-person, real-life business case that spanned 2.5 hours and was conducted in a panel format with several directors in attendance.
Throughout these interviews, I felt I had the opportunity to be myself and truly get to know the company and the people behind it, which was an incredibly helpful and informative part of the process. In addition, I had several questions and inquiries that I brought up during the interviews and everyone was very patient and helpful. I even had the opportunity to speak with one of the founders of the company several times throughout the recruitment process.
In summation, I found the interview process at Propeller to be incredibly friendly, in-depth, thorough and selective. It was a very positive and insightful experience for me. When I accepted the offer of employment, I knew I had made the right decision!
