I was a referral & went through recruiter screening, moved to hiring manager, and a peer interview. These few steps took a little over a month. When I questioned status from the recruiter, no response. So I reached out to the hiring manager for status and he responded that there was a change in strategy and the recruiter would bring me up to speed - still alluding to me being a candidate. The recruiter finally got back to me to let me know there was a change in strategy and he would like to chat with me. I gave him my availability and then he ghosted me again. I lost interest and moved on.
