I understand that Patagonia gets a ton of applicants for every position, but I expected a lot more of them. In their advertising they have a strong 'business unusual' message, however this interview process was terrible. I did two rounds, one 30 minute call and one 60 minute call. The second round was a case study interview with behavior questions, very McKinsey style. No communication was given about the process, the timeline, or even any post interview follow up. I was never told there would be a case. The interviewer showed up late. After each interview I followed up with a thank you and a week later I asked about next steps, but I never got any reply. There was a month between each round, each time with no communication. I gave up because no one ever replied. Also for a company that is supposed to be so different, they seem to only hire from Harvard/MBBs.
