      Extremely Rapid Process Leading to Sudden Revocation of Offer—Potential Scam/Hiring Mismanagement I applied for a Remote HR Coordinator role at Pacific Health Group via LinkedIn. The initial process was extremely fast: I was contacted within two days, completed an online skills assessment, and had a Google Meet interview with the HR Director and HR Manager. At the end of the first and only interview, I was told I would hear about a second round the following week. However, the next day, I received a verbal job offer. We successfully negotiated the salary, and the company accepted my counter-offer the day after that. The issues began when I requested a slightly later start date (3-4 weeks out) due to prior commitments, as opposed to their requested two-week start. After a scheduled follow-up call was missed, I received a call the following day stating they were no longer moving forward with my candidacy. The reason given was a sudden decision to no longer hire for the HR role, despite the position being posted for two months and the company mentioning they were planning to hire 2-3 people for a growing team. Cautionary Note: The speed and abrupt reversal of the offer, coupled with the sudden elimination of a long-posted role, suggests serious mismanagement or raises concerns about the company's legitimacy. Given the lack of online presence (no reviews/information beyond their website), I urge other candidates to be extremely cautious. If I had accepted and given notice at my current job based on their verbal offer, I would have been unemployed the following week. This entire process was unprofessional and highly disappointing.
