This was my first airline interview but I did my research before going, You are first briefed on how the company operates and they emphasize how little you will get paid and encourage you to walk if you don't like it, After the information session/discouragement session (No one in my group walked) you get assigned a partner, You talk to them in the lobby to gain information about the other candidate and you then proceed to sell them when you get back to the conference room, So initially you don't even have a chance to sell your self...Until you get the interview, About 40% of us got eliminated based on our performance selling the other candidate, After the selling session you grab a question out of a basket, Due to nerves I didn't answer as coherently as I would've wished. I did not get the interview, The people that were asked to stay were mostly young and bubbly and frankly poorly dressed, While I answered my question nervously and sold my partner they were rolling their eyes (!!!) the whole time I kid you not so they were not the most professional. You could clearly see that all the life was drained out of the people that were there for over a decade, One of the flight attendants just looked completely soulless and drained of life. My advice is to put your game face on, Be cold and professional and DO NOT reveal too much about your personal life, My partner took FULL advantage of that. They lost some good candidates, One lady was a former flight attendant and completely looked the part, The only redemption was the fact they at least asked a fellow veteran for an interview
