Entrevista
I have applied on Linkedin and was contacted back by the recruiter. The interview process was fast and the recruiter was responsive well. In total 4 rounds of interview as below
1. Hiring Manager interview, casual talks about experienced and some STAR-based questions
2. I have got an option to do take-home task or an online tests, i have chosen to take home test. The task is to create a Game of chance app in React
3. Coding review interview with two engineers both of them seem nice and the questions are about the general approach to solve the problem and how to improve the performance of React app
4. Final round with another lead engineer for cultural fit, questions were more about my experience and much of casual talk.
5. Got a response from the recruiter that the interview process has been completed and I have to wait for the offer letter which he was supposed to send in a few days.
After a few days, he responded that there are some internal changes going on within the company which leads to canceling my offer, weird after spending so many hours for them just got this response.
I understood it because of salary expectation, as I have still seen a lot of open positions for the same role still.
The recruiter was not good enough to inform the candidates about the company's expectations regarding the salary so the whole process could have been avoided, I just wasted two weeks of my time.
One good thing about the interview is, that the Recruiter is a nice person and always responsible for all queries. I understood the final decision is not from him.

Pregunta 1
Game:
The Game of Shells involves a flat surface, a row of three small containers and a ball small enough to fit underneath each of them. On each turn of the game the player is shown the ball being placed under one of the containers before the order of the containers is repeatedly shuffled at random. The player has to guess correctly which container the ball is under in order to win; otherwise they lose.

Initial interview, code takehome, presentation, Interviewer was nitpicky about simple mistakes that were repeated both in the response and then subsequently grilled in the interview. Unrealistic takehome expectations in the allocated time period.

Entrevista
The talent aqusition was responsive and clear about the company and the role, but the hiring manager interview were just toxic, bully and cringe. They will interrupt you with passive-agressive coments, make jokes about your answers and do questions not related with your previous experience. They are assuming you are desperate for a job and will devalue your experience as much as they can. Bad impression of the company.
