I was not given the manager's name, nor was my interview ever confirmed via email. It was obvious when I got there that she hadn't looked at my resume. She talked to me for all of two minutes before bringing me back behind the counter. This made me very uncomfortable, as we're in the midst of a pandemic and I was not given an opportunity to wash my hands. Only after half an hour of being toured around as if I had already been hired was I told that the manager expected me to be there for several hours to "see how I would do". This was never communicated to me in an email nor in person. I'm actively looking for jobs and did not have time to stay for several hours, and I was never asked to clear any amount of time from my personal schedule. When I told the manager I had to leave to make an appointment, she asked me if I was coming back tomorrow. One of the only other things she said to me was that she'd already turned away two people. Before I left, I saw a customer's mask slip down past his nose as he ordered, and nobody asked him to fix it. Another employee also pulled their mask down to their chin as I was leaving. I also noticed SEVERAL health code violations right away, including an open and overflowing ice bin with a carton of half and half stuck in it like beers in a cooler. I was shown very clearly that this is the ice that they use for drinks. Overall, most unnerving and worst job interview experience I've ever had in my life.
