It was about a 30 minute interview with the department manager. Mainly asked customer service and behavioral questions. We talked about multitasking and how to handle customer situations. After the interview I received an email/call from the manager a few days later.

It was very nice. Basic questions about my relevant experience and why I wanted to work there. Only mistake is I should have been more mind set on the position I wanted because although time wanted to there the position I wa offered I wanted a higher pay.

How did you fail once once and how you came out of it.
Nordstrom holds Hiring Events in which you are able to be interviewed on the spot. They ask you common interview questions, most of which are related to your previous work experience. Though it is a drop in event, I would recommend arriving as early as possible.
