I applied on the Nordstrom website and the next day, a Friday, received an email asking me to set up a phone interview. I scheduled the phone interview for that following Monday. The phone interview was relatively straight forward, and after about 15 minutes, the woman interviewing me asked me to schedule an in-person interview. I scheduled the interview exactly 2 weeks after my phone interview. For my in-person interview, I first had a one-on-one interview with the store director which lasted about 30 minutes. After that, one of the store managers showed me around the store and then asked me to pick out an outfit for a customer in a hypothetical situation (a casual, summer outfit that can be transitioned from day to night). After that, they told me they would contact me within the next couple of days.
