Applied online and got an email about a phone screen a few days later. They asked pretty general sales questions like my past experience and situational type questions. Then i was offered an in person interview. Was interviewed with two other girls asked pretty much the same questions from the phone screen. Ultimately the manager said she didn't hire part time people even though the job description said part time?

It began with the standard questions about how your personality and previous experience matches up with the job. Then a tour around the department to see work required for the job, and possibly a test to see how you know the product your selling. Creating an outfit or picking a product for certain customers needs.

I applied online (for kids apparel and shoes). I got an e-mail the next day saying to make an appointment online for a phone interview. Once I set it, I got a call on the day I set it, and it lasted about 10-15 minutes. Fairly easy. Then, the woman on the phone set me up for an in-person interview. I went and was interviewed by the manager. She asked lots of interview questions, and then brought me to the floor of where I would be working to show me around. There, she asked me questions as if she was a customer and I picked out an outfit for her. The interview ended after that and I got a call back about a week later saying that I got the job.
