Apply on usajobs.gov. Government is slow when it comes to paperwork and such, so you'd probably expect an update on your application in 2-3 months. Straightforward interview. Lots of team-related questions. I was expecting more technical or meteorology related questions, but the focus these days is communication and work with emergency managers.

Was asked typical HR questions, lasted about 30 minutes, phone interview. Some questions are tricky, can involve conflict resolution or teamwork-based questions. Was notified of the interview 2 days beforehand, so you are on short notice if you get one. Takes about 2-4 weeks after resume is referred on USAjobs.
