I've been invited to a first interview with the internal recruiter and had a lot of concearns regarding the role being this junior to my current level. However the company looked interesting to me and decided to give it a go. The interviewer called me at the agreed time which was very promising, however, that was it on the plus side!! She seemed she had one of those days as she sounded very annoyed on the phone and wanted to close the call asap, to the point she immediately lost my interest in the role. She was very unwilling to answer questions about the role and the business as well! Something to hide perhaps? On top of that she said the salary range was 120-130k basic plus double ote which represents 20-30% cut of my current situation, so I said thanks but no thanks. At that point she asked whether she could have been back in touch in case they won't be able to find what they were looking for and willing to increase the budget. Again, I said thanks but I think this is not going to be a good fit.
