This process was very, very lengthy, but overall pretty easy. The entire thing from first contact to the offer letter took 4 months. I had a 1 hour phone interview with the manager, then a standard HR phone screen after 1.5 months of no communication. After passing both, I moved on to the final interview. As I lived out of town, this was limited to a panel phone interview. No option to travel on-site was provided at any time. Final interview was 2 hours long, many people shouting questions at me. At times, very confusing because all interviewers sounded alike. After another month, was offered the job. Offer letter took a few weeks, even though I had a competing offer that was expiring and they could only provide verbal offer. It was a gamble, but luckily it all worked out.
