I applied online and was emailed a month later to scheduling a phone interview. Following the phone interview I was notified about a month later that I was not selected for the position.

Basic questions about my research background. I was asked to describe some of the statistical analysis that I had done in my lab. The position was in Canada so we had a brief discussion in French where I was asked why I chose to learn French and some other basic questions.

The manager assembled a team of trusted members of his direct reports and they screened me with questions relating to the position applied for. They asked for the name of the quality tools that apply to the position and for description of the method of use.

No crticral question.But wasn't hired for no reason. I think they have internal candidate. Hiring manager was so nice. He didn't asked me tough question. The job was also pritty simple.
