I first went in the store and filled out the electronic personality test, it consisted of 100 questions and it took about 15 minutes. Then I went home and filled out an online application and called the store back letting them know I did both the personality test and filled out the application. The store manager set up an interview up for the next day. The 1:1 interview was very laid back and simple, she asked questions such as why do I want to work at Maurices? Who are my fashion icons? Do I have any fashion sense? Describe a time you had to persuade someone to do something, etc... She had a 2-3 page packet full of questions, most were the same questions rephrased. After the interview she emailed me the 2nd half of the application process, which were providing 3 references. I filled that out the same day and let her know, it took her about a week and a half to call my references, as she was sick and on vacation most of that time. She hired me before she even called all 3 of my references, the trick in this interview process is to be bubbly and to know alot about fashion. Look up the current fashion trends before the interview, don't stumble over your words in the interview, and really talk yourself up, make yourself be someone that they want on their team. Overall the process was fast and easy!

In the back room, no styling a mannequin as seen sometimes, pretty average but some confusing questions, questions about experience, scheduling, pay, skills, how to resolve conflicts, your relationships with customers or coworkers , accomplishments, etc.
Interview was good. Basic questions. A couple questions about style like what is my favorite fashion trend at the moment. Overall an average interview. Other questions were about customer service.
In person interview ~40 min, was an average interview with normal questions. Got an offer the day of through a phone call later that day. Overall average interview process, start with phone call and ended with offer over the phone.
