The recruitment team were the saving grace for the interview experience. There was the screening interview with the recruiter, then a telephone interview w/hiring manager and an in-person interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager cancelled and rescheduled interviews at least twice and the interview was very awkward and it almost sounded like they didn't really know what the job could lead to so they wanted you to be prepared for anything. Though it was not a case study interview, it felt like the hiring manager attempted to ask questions to try and stump me. I left the interview very confident that I did not want to work with that hiring manager and he ultimately chose someone with a more traditional consulting background, which was fine by me. Had I received an offer I would have declined.
