I interviewed with MW London. The entire process took almost 3 months. First, I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn, who had a screening interview (about 15-20 mins) asking basic questions about my interest in MW and my experience. Next, I was contacted for an interview with a member of the Compliance department - it was a relaxed conversation about myself, knowledge of hedge fund operations, importance of compliance, and motivations. I then progressed to the final stage, which included: (a) A 1-hour excel test (b) Another interview with 2 members of the Compliance team - I was asked to prepare a short presentation on a topic. We discussed my presentation then I was asked some technical brainteasers followed by my motivations (c) A group case study interview with 3 members of the Compliance team and 5 other candidates who were being recruited for the role. I did not advance to the final round interview with the head of the department. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with frequent updates on the status of my application.
