Confusing, as in it was not as well organised as it should have been, with slightly unclear messages about whether I was moving to the next stage or not, and also who I would be meeting

Attended several rounds of interviews over a period of 5 months but got ghosted despite multiple follow ups with HR. Was told that I will be notified but no news at all.
Multiple rounds of interviews. Each one includes one senior person from Japan. A lot of emphasis of cultural fitment. Interviews are thorough and rigorous. Questions range from skills, situational leadership, passion for the role and long term relationship.
