There doesn't appear to be a functioning HR department when it comes to screening for new hires. I was contacted directly by a hiring manager, which isn't necessarily bad, but the whole process was confusing because no one appeared to be in charge of following up with candidates. Most HR reps would handle the candidates more smoothly and with more follow-up so you aren't surprised when you get a call back several weeks later.
