I applied online using Indeed. It was a lengthy application, it took me around an hour. I got a call the same day I submitted my application. At first I was a little off put by the managers/hiring team. I felt like a face in the crowd, which I was. I can only imagine how many people they were interviewing if they called me four hours after my app was submitted. Still, I currently had a job when I went into the interview so I could afford to notice and be offended by the way I was treated. Usually the interview is done by two people on the same day. However I was asked to come in the next day to meet with the other interviewer as he wasn't there. Overall the questions weren't difficult. Mostly just describing situations such as; "Tell me a time you were interrupted while trying to complete a task?" or "Tell me a time you went above and beyond to help a customer?". They were looking for detailed answers. In all honesty, I made most of my answers up or embellished actual incidents. I figured at the very least they would be hiring someone that can think on their feet. Also, I should note the interview was one on one. I've done both group and one on one interviews and I definitely prefer one on one. The second day I came in to meet with the other interviewer I was blown away with by how nice he was! I was almost tempted to call and say I was interested in the position anymore because of the day before. But I figured if they were willing to give me a second chance, they deserved one too. I got a call that day that they would like to offer me the job and to come in and accept the offer letter and take a drug test (cheek swab). They also asked my permission to perform a background check. I accepted a seasonal position as a cashier at $9.79 an hour. I have 5 years of customer service experience and this is the highest offer I have received.

The interview was a brief 15-minute discussion of the hours you are available and scenario questions to see if you are a natural problem solver. It was low-stress and I had the chance to ask many of my own questions.
