      Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en LinkedIn (Mountain View, CA) en mar 2017

      Entrevista

      I applied through employee referral. The recruiter called me for an initial phone screen to explain the role and what they do. A week later he called to tell me that the position was put on hold. I found a few other positions at linkedin and requested his help with those. A different recruiter then called me and scheduled on site interviews for leadership and technical screening. I was later told that they had a few more questions and would like to schedule another telephonic round . The recruiter did tell me that the overall outcome was positive. I spoke to the next interviewer and he confirmed with me that he liked my experience and even went ahead to provide tips for the next rounds. However, the recruiter later sent an email saying the outcome was negative. I asked her for specific feedback and never heard back.

      2 rounds for the screening. One for the leadership which is to ask about people management, project scope, and motivation, another coding session to work on backend coding question. The interviewers will keep pushing you to all the details in both rounds.

      applied at linkedin website, and surprisingly got update from recruiter. recruiter call was half hour and asked a few questions making sure i did have manager skills and experience. technical and leadership phone screen was scheduled after, overall it's pretty straightforward, but i did prepare quite a lot for leadership screen. technical round consists code review and easy/medium code implementation, if you do code often that should not be a problem. got update from recruiter after screening and got invite for onsite. will update after the interview.
