Interview process as you’d expect - initial online application was easy. The phone call interview was really positive. In person interview was ok - I didn’t get the job. They had unusually high expectations from what is just a job at Lidl. It was clear I was just looking for a job for money but they wanted workers that were somewhat desperate or passionate. I was willing to work hard but their ethos of how they wanted people who really wanted a career here seemed strange. It’s just a job to some people, and I was very honest in the interview that it would just be a job to me (post pandemic) but I had other endeavours on the horizon.
